The Story of ‘Cruelty to Animals’ cases in India – Lack of Data & Minimal Penalties Article 51A (g) of the Constitution of India states that it is the fundamental duty of every Indian citizen to protect and improve the natural environment including forests, lakes, rivers, and wildlife, and to have compassion for living creatures.
